The propane truck is playing new music! It's more banal than the usual, but at least there is a new tune to get stuck in my head.

Thanks for the blast from the past: I had almost forgotten getting propane deliveries in RPI. It was such a pain to get hot water (go outside and light the burner under the tin can thingy, wait for hot water, remember to turn it off before it boils and possibly blows up) that we rarely bothered. It's not as if the showers were really cold, given the water tower the water came from. Recall my visiting mother wondering how I could get dishes clean without hot water -- something that never worried me....; 7:29 PM
